Problem Statement – Our customer needed a solution to track their shipment of 53 inverter units from the origin in Texas to the project site located in California. The customer’s trucks were having to stop at a weight station in Arizona instead of California to pay a lower tax rate to AZ compared to CA.
LTS provided training to customer origin to activate and install GPS units onto Skids as well as capturing data of Skid information and recording data into our system, LTMS. We tracked shipments to ensure GPS units did not malfunction. We also provided training to the team at the project site to handle and de-activate GPS units once they were removed from the Skid. Throughout the whole project, LTMS generated and provided daily reporting of GPS activity and other requested metrics.
